ATLANTA, GA (Approx. 580 miles)
I-85 North to Charlotte, NC, I-77 North to Ft.
Chiswell, VA, I-81 North to New Market, VA, Exit
264, then Route 211 East, 15 minutes to Luray
Caverns (major land mark), continue on Route 211
past caverns (approx. 5 minutes) towards Shenandoah
National Park, as you begin winding up towards
the ridge line you will pass a stone building
on left side of Route 211 (Shenandoah National
Park HQs), you will then pass a gift shop on the
left side of Route 211, soon thereafter you will
see "Jewell Hollow Access Road" on your
right, this is a gravel road maintained by the
Park Service, Follow it to the end, at end, make
a left and immediate right up driveway (You will
see Shadow Mountain Escape from the road through
the trees). You'll see a Millstone at the base
of our driveway - 1132 Jewell Hollow Road. (There
is no sign at the entrance). |

CHARLOTTE, NC (Approx. 310 miles) I-77
North to Ft. Chiswell, VA, then I-81 North to
New Market, VA, Exit 264. Take Route 211 East,

70 miles) Route 29 North to Ruckersville. At Ruckersville
take Route 33 West to Elkton. Take Route 340 North
to Luray, pick up Route 211 East towards the Shenandoah
National Park, go past the Luray Caverns (major
land mark), continue on Route 211 past caverns
(5-10 minutes) towards Shenandoah National Park,
as you begin winding up towards the ridge line
you will pass a stone building on left side of
Route 211 (Shenandoah National Park HQs), you
will then pass a gift shop on the left side of
Route 211, soon thereafter you will see "Jewell

miles) Route 3 West to Culpeper, then Route 522
North to Sperryville and pick up Route 211 West
to Luray Caverns, 211 West will bring you directly
into the Shenandoah National Park and across the
Skyline Drive (at top of ridge line), cross skyline
drive and begin winding down mountain for about
5 minutes, keep eye out on left side of road for
a sharp gravel road turn off called "Jewell
Hollow Access Road" (If you pass the Shenandoah
National Park HQs - large stone building on right
- you went too far), take this National Park Service
road through the woods to the "T" at
the end, once at "T" make a left and
the first gravel driveway on the right is Shadow
Mountain Escape (you will see it from the road
through the trees). You'll see a Millstone at
the base of our driveway - 1132 Jewell Hollow

Route 30 West to Chambersburg, PA, then pick up
I-81 South to New Market, VA. Take Exit 264, then

of the beltway, exit 49 onto I-66 West, take I-66
West to Gainesville, at Gainesville, take Route
29 South and follow to Warrenton, pick up Route
211 West in Warrenton, 211 West will bring you
directly into the Shenandoah National Park and
across the Skyline Drive (at top of ridge line),
cross skyline drive and begin winding down mountain
for about 5 minutes, keep eye out on left side
