The Bumble
Bee cabin is one of two cabins within SME’s Bear Dance Lodge. The
Bumble Bee has the largest and most plush master bedroom of all of SME’s
rentals and is popular with couples celebrating anniversaries and family
groups. This cabin features the large master bedroom, a second separate
sleeping room, a full bath, a large full sit-down kitchen, a stone fire
place, a large deck, and all modern amenities. Like all of SME’s cabins,
guests will enjoy the warm ambience of the Bumble Bee with its exposed oak
timbers, European country decor, leather furniture, and antiques. As part
of the Bear Dance Lodge, the Bumble Bee offers the added benefit of immediate
access to the Blue Ridge Mountain views of the observation tower and the

SME
offers guests three totally unique timber frame cabins in a pastoral setting.
The Bear Dance Lodge is the largest SME structure that includes our Italian
Cantina, observation tower, and the two separate cabins called the Bumble
Bee and Dragon Fly. Although these two cabins
are both part of the Bear Dance Lodge, the unique design of the lodge sets them
off as stand-alone cabins sharing no common walls and connected only by the
observation tower. The Bumble Bee and Dragon Fly are SME’s largest cabins
sleeping 6 guests comfortably; both are two levels with their own full kitchen,

cabin is the Butterfly Loft - an enchanting and secluded cabin structure that
is favored by couples and located on the second floor of our Salt Box Barn Timber
Frame structure. All of SME’s structures are rare and original Timber
Frames accented by old European decor and antiques. |
