The Bear Dance Lodge is a completely unique and authentic timber frame structure located just above a confluence of mountain streams in the pastoral setting of Jewell Hollow - a beautiful niche of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The Lodge is comprised of an observation tower, our Italian Cantina, and two off-set cabins called the Bumble Bee and Dragon Fly. Due to the totally unique design of the Bear Dance Lodge, the two independent cabins share no walls between them and have completely different interior lay-outs. The Bear Dance Lodge is favored by families and larger groups for its spaciousness, mountain views, many rooms, old European appeal, and its full compliment of modern amenities
The lodge has a Cantina and an observation tower, which provides a striking view of the ridge line (Skyline drive) and surrounding forest for guests to enjoy. If you have more then 12 guests - consider renting the entire SME complex.
